Working together with other organisations and social movements, both locally and internationally, is essential to advance the enforceability of ESCR. For this reason, the Observatori DESC, in addition to being a platform of organisations and individuals, actively participates in national, state and international networks, campaigns and alliances.

Networks in which we participate

- ESCRnet: the International Network for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, connects 280 NGOs, social movements and activists from 75 countries to build a global movement to make human rights and social justice a reality for all.

- Habitat Internatioonal Coalition - HIC, is a global network fighting for the recognition, defence and full realisation of the right of all people to live in a secure place and with dignity.

- The Global Network on the Right to Food and Nutrition is an initiative of public interest civil society organisations and social movements - peasants, fisherfolk, pastoralists, landless people, consumers, urban dwellers living in poverty, food workers, women, youth and indigenous peoples - who recognise the need to act together for the realisation of the right to adequate food and nutrition.

- The DESC platform Plataforma DESC is a space of the Spanish civil society that worked together for the elaboration of the Alternative Report in the 6th Periodic Review of Spain - ICESCR and continues to cooperate for the guarantee of ESC rights in the Spanish State.

- LaFede.cat – organisations for global justice is a network that promotes the collective action of affiliated organisations. Lafede.cat works actively to achieve global justice and the eradication of inequalities everywhere, in other parts of the world and in our territory, through development cooperation, the defence and promotion of human rights and the promotion of peace.

- Global Platform Right to City is an international network in defense of city law that encompasses organizations, social movements, universities and local governments. From the work of different optics (public space, the right to housing, informal work, the organisation of women, mobility, etc.) and from all continents, efforts are made to establish commitments, regulations and public policies that implement the right to the city.

- Grupo de Monitoreo de la Sociedad Civil para el cumplimiento de los Dictámenes del Comité DESC en materia de vivienda. Group of social entities that monitor Spain's compliance with the Views of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (OHCHR) on Housing.

- Xarxa de Justícia Climàtica (Climatic Justice Network). A network of organisations and entities fighting for Climate Justice and for tackling the climate crisis that we are experiencing.

- Xarxa d'Economia Social - XES (Solidarity Economy Network). It is an organisation, made up of almost 500 members, that defends an economic system that respects people, the environment and territories that operates under democratic criteria of horizontality, transparency, equity and participation.
